I FINALLY got around to sending Mick some pics from my last jaunt to see them (New York, Boston, Philly, DC). Of course, being me, I attached some very fuzzy pictures in error, but you get the idea. Here they are:
Supergrass, East coast, 2006 Or, you can see them in the RTR Gallery. |

Saw them on the kick-off of their European tour in Amsterdam on Nov 7th. Interviewed Mick prior to the gig (transcript online on their official site now) and shot some clips during their gig.
Can't remember exactly how many times I've seen them, but still remember being caught by them when I saw them perform @ 'Later With Joolz Holland' in 1995. And being bloody pissed off when I found out we went on holiday the day before they were to appear on 'Metropolis Festival' in nearby town Rotterdam that August. Many great memories of and surrounding their gigs, like not sleeping for about 72 hours, while joining them in 'Maida Vale' in 1999. Sole bad experience was their notorious gig supporting 'Foo Fighters' in Amsterdam HMH, when most of their fans (including me) missed the first part of their show, due to the national railway dropping most services to Amsterdam that night. The grimm review was never published by webmaster Dave Might find time to share some files with you someday. But for now I'm far too distracted with all kinds of other things to even think about it. -------------------- "Spent too much time running around"

Me & the mrs just saw the greatest band in the world again tonight. They opened here in Seattle for Foo Fighters and they were fantastic. I was lucky enough to meet Gaz. Mick & Danny when they were here 2 1/2 years ago at a little club downtown. I was a blissed out nutcase at that show and tonight was no exception. So much so that Danny remembered my shiny head and perma-fanatic "grin" as he waved to ME from the kit towards the end of the show. My wife had to get my attention to point me to Danny's cheerfull shaking of his sticks- THAT WAS TOO COOL. Sorry, I digress....because they were an "opening act", the set was just under 50 minutes, with 5 songs from their latest CD taking up a good chunk of the set. Some highlights; Richard III, MARY, and Diamond Hoo Ha Man. "Pumping" was a rollicking closer. Thank you Gaz, Danny, Mick, Rob & Charlie. You guys ARE the best band in the world. PERIOD .
